AAID is able to replace or update your aircraft’s interior lamps. Many clients request that LED lighting be utilized when possible. Some of the strengths of LED lighting are: long life, good color rendering, great ability to focus the light where it’s needed, no mercury, no hazardous materials, low heat output compared to incandescent lighting, capable of producing up to 200 lumens/watt, produces no Ultra Violet light that can damage or fade products, can be used in cold environments, has a very high scotopic factor making it appear brighter to the human eye, can be dimmed.
